Redefining What You ‘Think’ You Can Do

I have been training with Amy for many years now and am always interested in her new workout challenges. So, when Amy announced that she would train us for Tough Mudder, I was one of the first to sign up.Agility drills for running I always wanted to do an event like this, but was worried about doing it alone and being properly prepared. I knew with Amy as our leader and coach, we would have no problem conquering 11.75 miles and 21 crazy obstacles.

We started this process with two-hour training sessions and worked our way up to four-hour sessions and 13 miles of running. I am not a runner and never thought I could run 13 miles for anything, yet there I was, week after week, keeping up with the team. I have never felt more strong and “fit” in my entire life!

Amy made sure we were extremely prepared by spending countless hours studying everything she could about Tough Mudder and using this information to plan our workouts. We trained out in the 12 miles of running plus 21 obstaclesrain and mud and even jumped in an extremely cold swimming pool, just to get used to how it would feel when we did the real thing.

On the morning of the actual event, we were nervous and excited at the same time. But once we hit the course, we started to relax and just had fun going from one obstacle to the next.

Tough Mudder Arizona SuccessWe all stayed together and helped each other out when needed. This was truly a team accomplishment. I had so much fun being a part of this adventure and absolutely loved doing the Tough Mudder with the amazingly awesome Team AVC!

I was actually sad when it was all over because our team was like a family.

Farther, Faster than Ever with AVC Elite Training

Lateral Step UpsI have been pretty active all my life, but I often found myself getting side tracked at the gym.

I wanted to do strength training, but I didn’t really know how to make sure I did it right – and that I targeted all the muscle groups.

Efficient Workouts for Time Crunched

I started Amy’s training classes right after I found out I was pregnant with my 3rd child, Perfect-Push-Up-Pike-TRXduring my pregnancy Amy’s class really helped keep my strength up. As soon as I was able to work out again I was right back into the next session of training.

I absolutely LOVE Amy’s training sessions for so many reasons. First of all it is a challenge, every time I walk away with the feeling you get when you have had a fantastic workout.

Best Fitness Program for Your Money in Arizona

I am not a fitness enthusiast at all. I was a former high school athlete that has let the last 30 years go by and watched my once 155 lbs. frame balloon to over 215 lbs. I hit 50 years old and my health dictated that I needed to make a drastic change with my life.

Never Boring, Killer Fitness Training

I joined the AVC Elite Training team because I was in need of getting refocused on my health. I finally recognized that what I was doing on my own was not cutting it. I knew I needed direction and accountability. Best decision I ever made!

Killer WorkoutsWhat I love about AVC Elite Training is that you not only get one-on-one expertise and personal attention, but you also benefit from the other team members who are more than willing to support and help the new kid on the block. It didn’t matter that I was clearly starting from scratch.
